About

Stacey Palmer is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.  She attended The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000.  Following graduation, she worked as an RN at Seton Medical Center in the cardiac-focused intensive care units before returning to graduate school in 2010 at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.  During this time, Stacey began working in the Georgetown community in home health, hospice, and at St. David’s Georgetown intensive care unit.  She completed her clinical rotations with Dr. Bohmfalk at Georgetown Medical Center and was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012. Stacey then began working with Elite Patient Care where, over the last 10 years, she has served in various leadership positions and honed her skills and expertise in adult and geriatric medicine, skilled nursing, assisted living, palliative care and hospice.

Following a health crisis in 2016, Stacey found a new passion in Lifestyle Medicine and returned to The University of Texas at Austin to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on preventing and treating chronic disease and obesity through diet.  Stacey is married to her high-school sweetheart and they have raised their family in Georgetown since 2007. When they are not traveling for their kids golf tournaments, they are active in their local church, enjoy going to the beach, and just hanging out at home with their 10-year-old English Bulldog.
